'Melaleuca lanceolata', is a tough tree bent and twisted by the prevailing winds, exposing gnarled roots anchored to the Earth. Armature wire captures the significant stress coastal plants endure to survive the severe elements and maintain their shape. The contorted 'Moonah Tree' is also illuminated by the reflective silver wire.
