In its inaugural year TRAILS finalists included artists from Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales. The works reflected a range of media, techniques and experience, providing viewers with a broad spectrum from which to cast their People's Choice vote.
Whilst engaging with the reflective optical illusions in the side panels and back of this whitegood, the viewer is asked to reflect on their and their ancestors participation in the current environmental crisis and the possibilities of a pivot in terms of what and how we grow and eat.
