In its inaugural year TRAILS finalists included artists from Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales. The works reflected a range of media, techniques and experience, providing viewers with a broad spectrum from which to cast their People's Choice vote.
A series of towers represent a cityscape of high-rise architecture. The use of discarded plastic, steel and porcelain house-hold items in their creation reflects the increasing use globally of recycled waste products in the technological development of building materials for use on large scale building projects.
