2022 Finalists
This year TRAILS finalists included artists from Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales. The works reflected a range of media, techniques and experience, providing viewers with a broad spectrum from which to cast their People's Choice vote.
Cherry MacFarlane
Evolving… connecting… ageing. I use sticks as a metaphor for the human frame, for family, for nation. A visceral cord of wire, silk and thread emerges from the base, twists and twines around and through the sticks to a higher 'place'. We stand alone, yet we are all earthed.
