2022 Finalists
This year TRAILS finalists included artists from Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales. The works reflected a range of media, techniques and experience, providing viewers with a broad spectrum from which to cast their People's Choice vote.
Georgina Sambell
The vulnerability and malleability of clay influences the painterly surface images which arrive from an unconscious instinctive place.
The bottle-like form appears to be in a stage of collapse, the fragility of the form has collected growths and the images have faded as if washed up from the ocean.
