The Disconnect is my visualisation of the fragility of memory in a time of Dementia. The raw paper torn from its pad, blank. Upon it an aged vine stem lies bent with only the stunted nodules along its stem suggesting a past time of growth. The feather represents the memory that once was, a part which was still vibrant and tactile.
