This year TRAILS finalists included artists from across Australia. The works reflected a range of media, techniques and experience, providing viewers with a broad spectrum from which to cast their People's Choice vote.
Catherine Francis
Octavia, the Giant Pumpkin germinated in my garden under a full moon. As her devotee, I provided elixirs and she flourished with unfettered abandonment.
At 110kg Octavia began her queenly descent. There was beauty as she shrouded herself in the damp, soft layers of her mortality. ALL HAIL OCTAVIA!
