2024 Finalists
This year TRAILS finalists included artists from across Australia. The works reflected a range of media, techniques and experience, providing viewers with a broad spectrum from which to cast their People's Choice vote.
Therese Coffey
My practice follows forms in art which contain movement. My intention is to mimic jelly fish 'Scyphozoa' under water. The strands of golden thread connect to wire cup shapes, as they dangle in an orb formation. Light reflects off threads and wires to give off lustrous sparkles as it moves.
